You need to find someone that is more stable and move on. It is likely to be the symptoms of bipolar disorder, not the condition itself, that may cause relationship problems. I'm happy to say that after a few years of struggle, I was able to find the right medication, balanced with self-care including sleep, exercise, and diet , that has allowed me to thrive personally and professionally.

Learn about the history of stigma, what advocates are doing today and get involved in the mental health community. I am a musician and I could not stand being involved with anyone on any level who was mundane. There is a lot you can learn from this person and if they have a great therapist with whom they meet weekly it is not always hard for the significant other to manage. How can I best reach out to someone that is trying to push me away to let her know I am still there for her? It seems unrealistic for my friend and others like her to look into every single one of them.

Premarital counseling is recommended if you are considering marriage, as committed relationships with individuals who truly do have bipolar disorder can be challenging. Hopefully I will have more books to share in ! Read and stay informed.
